Match uppercase and lowercase letters while sliding down a St Patrick’s Day rainbow!
Different ways to use this resource
- Match the uppercase letter suns with their lowercase four leaf clover partners using the mat provided.
- Use the letters alone and place them in alphabetical order.
- Also, use the letters to make CVC words like ‘cat,’ ‘peg’ or ‘mug.’
- Pop some of the matching suns and clovers together and create a memory card game where kids flip the turned down pictures till they find all the matching pairs.
- Grab some small, coloured objects and place matching colours on the St Patrick’s Day mat.
Prep needed
- Download this free activity at the bottom of this post.
- Print off either the colour or black and white version. Using card would be sturdier, but paper is fine.
- Laminate if you wish. Have kids colour the black and white version if they want to.
- Cut to separate all the suns and clovers.
- You’re ready to go!
