Description
This CVC Play Dough pack encourages children to find 105 CVC words plus 11 nonsense words. There are:
– 24 short a words
– 18 short e words
– 25 short i words
– 20 short o words
– 18 short u words
– 11 nonsense words.

- Simply laminate the mats or put them in protective sleeves.
- Children make snakes with their play dough then form the letters, sounding them out as they go.
- Then they can write the word below using dry erase markers.
- For the nonsense words they can draw a picture of what the word might mean.
No time for play dough? Have children trace the words with their fingers, a fancy pointer or a dry erase marker.
