2019 Monthly Calendar formats
- Weeks running Sunday to Saturday
- Weeks running Monday to Sunday
Some teachers and parents have strong opinions on what day they like the weeks to start, so there are 2 completely separate calendars!
Please keep in mind that sometimes it’s difficult to fit all the days in when, for example, day 1 is the last day of the week so day 31 gets pushed off the page. Generally I have been following the tradition of adding that last day to the beginning of the calendar month which can be a little confusing sometimes to children, so there are a couple of different options for months like this.
There are also 2 versions for January, one with summer graphics and one with winter graphics.
Previous calendars also contained country-specific special days, however, they’ve been phased out it this version as most readers prefer to have more room to write notes in the boxes.
What can I do with these 2018-2019 monthly calendars?
Readers have found lots of different uses for these calendars. This is what they’re using them for:
- During calendar time in class
- As a behaviour chart
- For remembering visits to specialists such as speech therapists and physiotherapists
- For children to mark their own attendance
- To keep track of which weeks are with mum and which weeks are with dad
- Class reminders to go up on the fridge at home
- Christmas calendar gifts to family – coloured by the kids with special dates written in!
- As a gift to a mentor teacher, with the kids colouring in the pages and writing little notes.
- To practice counting on to 30
- For Homeschool calendar learning and organisation
- As a reminder for incorporating special days into the curriculum
- For teaching ESL kids about months and days

Would you like an editable version?
Buy it once then all future versions are free!
In these editable versions there are 2 small editable boxes placed inside each day. One beside the number with a slightly smaller font. And one for the bottom half of the day with a slightly larger font.
Please note: The dates, graphics and any pre-written text is not able to be edited or deleted. They are fixed in place in order to be able to use the graphics legally.
You can check out the 2019 MONTHLY CALENDAR (EDITABLE) at my TpT store.
I hope you get lots of use out of these calendars!

I went to download the free calendar for 2019 and noticed that there are two different ones for June and they are both incorrect. Can you please take a look and fix them if possible? I would love to be able to use them in my class. Thank you. 🙂

Hi Michele,
There are 2 versions because of the formatting. Since the month runs from a Saturday to a Sunday, there’s no way for me to format it in a way that includes both the 1st and the 30th. I suggest you use the version that starts with the 2nd and explain to your kids that the 1st is on the end of the last week in May. Or you could possibly use the Mon to Sun calendar for that month as all the numbers fit in that one.
An additional note: I have added June 1st to the end of the May calendar to make it clearer for June!
