Edit: January to December 2021 calendars are available HERE.
Our 2017 monthly calendar is now available! This is our 5th calendar update since creating the first one for 2015. For those teachers who like to print them off and get your kids busy creating calendars as Christmas gifts for their families it’s ready to go!
How readers use these calendars!
- During calendar time in class
- As a behaviour chart
- For remembering visits to specialists such as speech therapists and physiotherapists
- For children to mark their own attendance
- To keep track of which weeks are with mum and which weeks are with dad
- Class reminders to go up on the fridge at home
- Christmas calendar gifts to family – coloured by the kids with special dates written in!
- To practice counting on to 30
- For Homeschool calendar learning and organisation
- As a reminder for incorporating special days into the curriculum
2017 monthly calendar layout
When I surveyed my readers there was a 50/50 split in how they liked their weeks to run. So I now create 2 separate calendars so everyone can use them. You can download either version below.
- Sunday to Saturday
- Monday to Sunday
Please note: I have taken out some of the international days from previous versions to allow more space for writing.
Different national days
Since this calendar is used all over the world it’s created to be as generic as possible. In order to be a bit more adaptable there are additional calendar pages at the end of each file for 5 countries/regions.
- United States: Memorial Day, July 4th, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving and Kwanzaa.
- Australia / New Zealand: Australia Day, Waitangi Day and Anzac Day.
- Canada: Canada Day and Thanksgiving.
- United Kingdom: St Georges Day and Guy Fawkes Day.
Would you like an editable version?
In this 2017 monthly calendar there are 2 small editable boxes placed inside each day. One beside the number with a slightly smaller font. And one for the bottom half of the day with a slightly larger font.
Please note: The dates, graphics and any pre-written text is not able to be edited or deleted. They are fixed in place in order to be able to use the graphics legally.
You can check out the 2018 MONTHLY CALENDAR (EDITABLE) at my TpT store. Once it’s been purchased you can re-download all future versions for free!
