Using these puzzles
These bird life cycle puzzles are intentionally simple for younger children. They’re great for encouraging conversation about the circle of life, as it were, but they’re also good for thinking about sequencing and order.
In order to learn to read and write, children need to master the ability of breaking words and concepts down into smaller parts and putting them back together. These simple puzzles encourage that kind of thinking and if they’re colouring the puzzles as well as carefully placing the pieces together, they’re getting fine motor practice, too!
